Welcome

I have an interest in Creative Writing, Calligraphy and Graphic Design.
I've tried to create a visual to most, but not all of my written works. I've found real enjoyment from what I have accomplished so far. I am grateful for the wonderful people who inspire me.

Bohemian Lily

I once knew a woman named Lily. She was known far and wide for her free-spirited nature and contagious laughter. Lily's radiant smile was like sunshine on a gloomy day, and her heart was as wild as the untamed forest that bordered the town.

Unlike many others in the conservative town, Lily refused to conform to societal norms and expectations. She had a curiosity that knew no bounds, and she yearned to explore the world beyond the town's borders. Lily's adventurous spirit led her to dream of far-off lands, vibrant cultures, and the mysteries that lay beyond the horizon.  Every morning, she would rise with the sun, her bare feet dancing on dew-kissed grass as she breathed in the crisp morning air. Lily would spend her days wandering through meadows and forests, getting lost in the melodies of birds and the whispers of the wind. She collected stories from the elderly and listened intently to the tales told by travelers passing through, absorbing every bit of knowledge like a sponge.

Lily's home was a small cottage near the riverbank. Its walls adorned with trinkets and souvenirs from places she had never been but hoped to visit one day. The townsfolk, while they admired her spirit, often shook their heads at her dreams, thinking them impossible fantasies.  Lily remained undeterred, for she believed that life was meant to be lived to the fullest. She was an artist, her canvas the world, and her paintbrush the experiences she gathered along her journeys. The more she discovered, the more vibrant her soul became.

As the seasons changed, so did Lily. She learned the art of pottery from a wise old artisan, the joy of dance from a group of gypsies who camped near the river, and the magic of cooking from a kind chef who took her under his wing. Her life was an ever-evolving masterpiece of colors and textures, of laughter and tears, of triumphs and setbacks.  Word of the free-spirited woman spread like wildfire, and people from far-off places sought her out to hear her stories and share their own. She became a beacon of inspiration for those who yearned to break free from the shackles of conformity and embrace their true selves.

One summer's day, a traveler arrived in the town—a young man named Leo. He was intrigued by the tales of the free-spirited woman and sought her out in the meadows where she often lingered. As they spoke, their souls connected like kindred spirits. Leo had a free-spirited heart himself, but he had been afraid to embrace it fully until he met Lily.  Together, they explored the world beyond the town, hand in hand, embarking on adventures that only their wildest dreams could have conjured. Their love for each other mirrored the freedom they cherished, and they realized that life had truly become an enchanting journey when they were together.

As time passed, the town began to change. Lily's spirit had touched the hearts of its inhabitants, and they became more open-minded and accepting. No longer did they view her as an eccentric outsider, but as a wise and cherished member of their community.

Lily and Leo's love story became a legend, passed down through generations, inspiring many to live life with their hearts unchained. The once closed-off town had blossomed into a vibrant hub of diverse experiences and open-mindedness.  And so, the free-spirited woman, Lily, and her adventurous lover, Leo, lived happy and free, wandering the world hand in hand, leaving a trail of laughter and love wherever they went. Their story reminded everyone that life was not meant to be lived within walls and boundaries but was an extraordinary journey to be embraced with open arms and open hearts.
