Welcome

I have an interest in Creative Writing, Calligraphy and Graphic Design.
I've tried to create a visual to most, but not all of my written works. I've found real enjoyment from what I have accomplished so far. I am grateful for the wonderful people who inspire me.

For Her Looks

 For Her Looks

I married my wife for her dazzling eyes,
The kind that could rival the sunlit skies.
Her smile was bright, her laughter divine,
A beauty unmatched, a heart entwined.

But time has a way of changing the view,
Not her beauty, but the looks she threw.
At first, they were soft, like whispers of spring,
Now they’re sharp as a bee’s sudden sting.

Her glances once sparkled with love’s sweet glow,
Now they scowl, and her eyebrows grow low.
Those eyes that once danced when I walked in the door
Now roll in a way I can’t ignore.

Her looks used to say, You’re my only star,
Now they scream, Did you forget where your socks are?
She used to gaze as if I hung the moon,
Now she stares like I’m the mess in the room.

But love isn’t built on a fleeting glance,
It’s weathering moods and a second chance.
Though her looks have shifted, her heart stays true,
And I know my own glances have changed too.

So here’s to the years, the sighs, and the glares,
To love that persists through exasperated stares.
For though her eyes might give me "that" look,
I’d marry her again, hook, line, and book.
